Making Photographs Without Making a Scene
River-dolphin photography is mostly empty frames and a few honest silhouettes. Anyone promising a portfolio of close portraits is selling a different activity than the one we run.
We work from stable craft, talk about shutter speeds on a moving deck, and stop the boat from becoming a second photographer in the animal’s space. If you need a studio, this is the wrong river.
