Tourism That Does Not Chase
Chasing dolphins is easy to dress up as enthusiasm. It is still chasing. Repeated approaches, circling, and high-speed intercepts teach animals that boats are a threat and teach guests that wildlife exists to perform.
Dolphin Rangers’ code is simple enough to print on a briefing card: distance, no pursuit, no swim, no feed, engines down when we can, designated routes, and full regard for Forest Department and boating rules. If a guest wants a closer look than ethics allow, we decline the manoeuvre — and we would rather lose the booking than the animal’s calm.
